Was a stay at home Mother for 20 years, how do I rejoin the workforce?

I’ve been a stay at home Mom for 20 years, I once worked as an RN and have a 4yr degree in nursing – how do I go about getting back into the workforce(I do not want to work in a hospital or with sick people)? I’m worried about what to put on a resume – as all my experience is so dated.


Check with your local resources. Many communities have programs that are available to those in your position or those who need to find new jobs because of their positions eliminated for whatever reason and they have to start all over. Temporary job agencies may be able to help you by either finding entry level positions or by giving you better direction that is more specific to your community and your situation.
