Best VERIZON cell phone plan to replace home phone too?

I got my first cell this week :) I have Verizon at home (land line) and want to know the most affordable plan to REPLACE MY LAND LINE. I can’t afford the cell AND The land line.

I don’t call long distance much and when I do it’s usually a verizon cell customer.

I don’t want to worry about my husband calling me from work though. Land line, military base.


Well, you already have your cell phone… so I would recommend going a month or so to see how often you use it and how many minutes you’d go through. When you get your first bill, it will give you a breakdown of how many minutes were used and how many were Verizon to Verizon. From there, you should be able to tell which plan you’d need to cancel your home phone line.

P.S. There is no contract extention to adjust your plan, so feel free to move your minutes up or down as you see fit.
