Online Jobs Start Immediately

When does Census work start after training?
About two weeks ago I got called about a Census enumerator job I applied for. I went to training the following Monday and we completed within three days, though we never went out in the field because the forms weren’t ready. Since then, I haven’t received any calls about starting my position and I’ve never been assigned a crew leader. Then, just today, I got my SF-50 in the mail, which was dated from before I even started to training. I’m a little confused about this all, since it seems from what I read online that work is supposed to start immediately after training. They told us during training not to call the Census office because they were inundated at this time, so I don’t know who to ask.
Does anyone who’s worked for the Census know what might be going on? Is there just no work available?
It depends entirely on where you live.
In my area, we started about a week after training and the first week was pretty slow, just a few forms here and there, but then it started to pick up more and more.
I’d suggest you call your crew leader, since they are the ones who will be receiving the assignments to distribute to everyone in your group.
This is the online job for you!
