Is it really possible to make money with google?

I’ve seen a few things online debating whether or not you can realistically make money with google. Adsense and Adwords are two terms I’ve seen thrown around a lot. I’m an army wife, I stay at home, and if there is something I can do during the day to make a little extra money, it seems like it would be worth it. I’m just wondering if any “real” people have done this and actually made money with it. I spend a lot of time browsing the web already, so doing a little work online for a couple hours a day doesn’t sound too bad if I could actually generate a little extra income from it. I just don’t want to spend money on an expensive program if I don’t need to, or if it is a waste of time.

Is there any free information that does the same thing as one of these programs? I’ve read that they don’t do anything other than show you how to use *free* resources that exist independently of the programs.

Sure it is. If you believe your site is popular enough. You could do some simple calculations based on estimated page views you expect to achieve for a time period, and see if the money you get is worth the trouble to you.

It could be a nice way to make even a little money on the side, while your site serves another purpose. EX: For your business. You can promote products,as well as get a small sum of money from ads.
