Is there a minimum amount of money you have to have in a bank account to open a bank account? USA?

I’m talking about Bank of America, Bank Atlantic, or maybe any other safe, reliable bank in Florida. What is the minimum payment to have in the bank? I’m 18 years old and I’d like to open an account, but I don’t have a job yet and I want to make money online, I already have everything laid out. The only thing stopping me is my parents and their lack of money to help me with my bank account.

Is there a bank that has atleast no minimum?
A checking account.


The only way you can find all this out is call a few banks and ask these questions. Most of them have accounts they will open for young people for a small deposit.
