Looking for a photography mentor?

Hi all,

I am a software engineer with tight shift schedule and all. I have great passions for photography .After I got this job only I have the means to pursue my interests. But online learning and joining classes..I don’t think that will work for me…So I am looking for a mentor/teacher (If he/she is a professional photographer, well and good) who could show me the ropes..
Can anyone suggest someone? Or if there is another option for me.do let me know..I am from Kochi, Kerala..so it is preferable that he/she is at least Keralite


Are you living in southern India NOW or are you living in the USA now? If you are in USA it may be quite impossible to find someone that meets you requirements. if you are living in India now…I might suggest that you post a flyer on a bulletin board at some local colleges or universities there. You should also switch to Yahoo India for better results in your search. If language is a barrier….you should first work on your English skills….if that is the problem.
