Work At Home Minnesota

cease and desist letter?
I sent a cease and desist letter to a collection agency who was calling me at home, work and on my cell. I know that they received the letter as I sent it certified mail, but still the calls continue. I have sent a complaint to the BBB in their state of Minnesota. But aren’t they suppose to pay me if they continue to contact me? I have all of the calls noted and I did speak with someone at the office, but he told me he would not talk to me about the cease and desist letter, as it was not received, according to him
You should mail the letter again along with the proof of certified mail that it was received. Also mention in your second letter that if they continue to call against your wishes, you should inform them that you intend to sue them. They are violated the Fair Debt
Since you have been treated unfairly by a debt collector, take action. File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at 877-FTC-HELP or go to http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre18.shtm. Also, I have enclosed a link to the Minnesota Attorney General’s office to file a complaint. http://www.ag.state.mn.us/consumer/complaint.asp
Good luck.
